Snow in Alabama

Hi to everyone! :-) We have had some extremes in our weather this past weekend here in Alabama! Tornados within about 3 miles of my home Saturday morning and then SNOW yesterday! This is a picture of a limb on my old Beech tree right outside my back door touching the ground with the weight of the snow! We had a tad over 4 inches! It's so pretty but I'm soooo glad it's melting! :-)

2 of my aunts from Florida were here for my mother's birthday and they got to see the snow! They left after it started being kinda leery about traveling in the snow and ice. We had a great time with them and I miss them already!

Hi again from me! It's 17 degrees down here in South Alabama and I'm about to freeze slap to death! I'm a Southern Gal for sure and CAN NOT take the cold! :-) Please, please, please come on Spring!

I'm all about promoting and helping each other and I wanted to write a minute about another very special friend of mine, Bebe of Off The Beaten Path Designs. I cannot even being to tell you about all the work she has done for me .... she goes out of her way "doing the voodoo" that she does so well getting my websites just like I want them! This lady has a family that she loves with all her heart, she works 24/7 on her sites and she still takes time to be a great friend to me! I thought I worked alot but I don't
do anything compared to Bebe! She does GORGEOUS graphics work, is a jam up programmer (You would need to be dealing with me and all the changes I make!) :-) and also makes Printables! Just wanted to get back on here one more time and say have a very great day, try to stay warm and please remember others.....

I worry about all the homeless folks and animals especially at this time of year. There is so much we can do that will not cost you a cent and maybe just a little of your time... and you will reap so much in return. I donate all of my old clothes and such to Goodwill, Salvation Army and our Thrift Store and am taking another box (my 2nd this year while doing my EARLY Spring Cleaning!! Yippee!!) on Friday. I'm really big on trying my best not to judge people (We never know what folks have had to go through and EVERYBODY has their own story.) and while this economy is in the state it's in, I think it's a really good thing to try and help folks that need it. It never hurts to reach out and help someone that is a little down on their luck. I really feel that we are all one paycheck or one really bad happening in our lives away from being homeless and if we all spent just a little of the energy that we spend on judging folks helping them instead, just think what a fine world we would live in. Another belief of mine is that everything you do good is going to come back to you ten fold. God blesses us abundantly and will if you allow it. I have some shut in folks that I check on also. Please let's not forget them! And please remember Animals! They are also cold this time of year and just because they cannot voice their feelings does not mean they do not feel. Please take care of animals! I pick up strays that I find on the road, feed them and either find them a home or take them to our NO KILL Shelter. I've rescued horses, dogs, cats and um.... one BIG lizard! Some of best animals I have ever had and ever will have are my Rescued Animals. Please lets take care of one another and all of God's creatures here in this life.
